Dentaro Services Limited was founded in 1996 as a supplier of laboratory equipment. Today the company also builds its own instruments for histology labs and invests in companies applying AI to science.
How the company grew

Starting with supply.
For most of its history Dentaro has supplied laboratories with equipment from established manufacturers: sourcing, shipping, installation and the paperwork in between.

Building what was missing.
Working with labs showed where affordable tools were missing. One gap was specimen labelling in histology, so Dentaro built its own laser marking system for tissue cassettes, and its own cassettes to go with it.
- 03
Investing in what comes next.
Dentaro also invests in technology companies whose software labs and life-science companies will use. The current holding is Dezzai SL, a Madrid-based company working in semantic and generative AI.
