Our own products for histology labs: a laser marking system for tissue cassettes and the cassettes it marks.
Our approach
Pathology labs process hundreds of tissue cassettes a day, and labelling is where errors creep in: handwritten cassettes are hard to read, easy to mix up and impossible to scan.
So we build our own products for it. Hardware, electronics, firmware, software and documentation are developed in-house.
What we develop
- Mechanical design of instruments and their transport mechanics
- Electronics and embedded firmware (STM32, FreeRTOS)
- Control and operator software (C++/Qt, Python web interface)
- LIS/HIS integration
- Documentation to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
- Tooling and production of consumables
