Histology cassettes
Our own line of histology cassettes, produced from our own injection mould and made to take a clean laser mark.
The problem
Cassettes from different suppliers vary in plastic and finish, so the same laser settings can give a sharp mark on one batch and a faint one on the next. Depending on third-party production also puts supply at risk.
What we built
Our own cassette with a standard 45° writing surface, made from our own injection mould. The plastic is matched to our fiber laser, and the cassettes come in several colours for colour-coding specimens.
